Some parts I actually NEED for my Trans Am have been removed from the Esprit parts car.
“Hidden” wiper arms. They go for about $40 in this condition. That’s..... $360 to go in parts/sales before I break even on buying the car.
I was getting sick of not having room under the hood to work on removing bits so I took it, the hinges, and latch out. Now I have the right bolts for my TA’s hinges, hooray. Another couple bucks down.
To keep the rain out I decided to ditch trying to put the heavy rusty mouse infested flat steel OE hood back on and instead put the lighter fiberglass cowl hood that came with my TA so many years ago. It looks... well it looks like this:
I also decided to re-organize my other hoods and lie them on their sides which is better for them, from what I’ve heard.
This one will be wall art some day
This one is going on the car... some day.
